NEMO NITES at the Auburn YMCA
(a clever disguise for Parent's Nite Out)

Nite includes: Gym, Swim, Pizza, & a Movie (Finding Nemo, & other "water" based films)

Fee: $15 for one child, $25 for two children, & $5 for each addtnl child.

States Hotel Info: States will be held March 12-14, 2010 at the Univ Buffalo Pool. The Auburn Stingrays have blocked 50 rooms at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Hwy, Amherst,NY 14221. For reservations call 800-334-4040 and ask for the Auburn YMCA room block. Cost is $125.00 per night (+8.75% sales tax and 5% Erie County Hotel Tax). Rooms are first come, first served. Reserve your room early. Reservations for the room block must be made before Feb 18. After that day, any unreserved rooms will be released.. Check-in is 4:00pm, check-out at noon. Stingrays Spring Swim:
April 5 - May 27: Mon, Wed, & Thurs: 4:30 - 6:30
April & May are technique months for the Auburn Stingrays. Spring Swim is eight weeks of learning/reviewing the fundamentals and drilling them into becoming perfect habits. This is also a great time for swimmers to get introduced to competitive swimming team practices and racing skills. There is a fun squad meet in late May.
The program empasis is on drills and fun!
Fee: Y-Members = $85., General Public = $110.
Summer Swim at Casey Park
June 28 - August 20, Monday - Friday: 6:00 - 8:00pm
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU will be offering a non-competitive summer swim team program at Casey Park this year. There will be coached long course and short course practices and will included a YMCA meet schedule for non-collegiate swimmers under 21 years of age.
Casey Park pool provides swimmers from Auburn and neighboring communities the opportunity to train in an outdoor 50 meter pool. This swim team practice is designed to give swimmers a head start on their upcoming seasons. The program is open but not limited to:
Club Swimmers
YMCA Swimmers
Modified / Varsity Swimmers
Off-Season College Swimmers
Tri-Athletes
Master Swimmers
Fee: $110 for YMCA Members and/or Auburn City Residents, $135 for Non-Residents

***WE MUST HAVE TIMERS. PLEASE SIGN UP AT THE STINGRAY BULLETIN BOARD. ALL TIMERS EXPERIENCED OR NOT, MUST BE IN THE POOL OFFICE AT 11:15 AM TO REVIEW PROCEDURES. THIS IS NOT A “COMPLICATED” JOB, BUT IT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A MEET. GET OFF THE DECK AND COME DOWN TO THE DECK. BESIDES ITS “COOLER”***
